Family festival in Witpoortjie
Get the family ready for a day of great fun at the Witpoortjie Recreation Centre.
The West Suburbs Neighbourhood Watch will be host a family festival on Monday 16 June.
The festival will be held at the Witpoortjie Recreation Centre on South Road, Witpoortjie from 8am. Many exciting activities are planned for the day, including a marathon, beauty pageant, paintball, a potjiekos competition, boeresports and a car show and shine and a sound-off. Children can enjoy the jumping castles and other exciting activities.
Market stalls will be available and Befonk the Band will provide entertainment for the day.
All sorts of food will be on sale, including Chinese food, biltong, sweets and baked goods, waffles and pancakes, curry and rice, vetkoek, jaffles and boerewors rolls, says Frikkie van Zyl.
