No water in Florida for two days
"Infrastructure upgrade the reason for interruption."
Some parts of Florida as well as two other areas surrounding Roodepoort will be without water for two days.
Residents mostly to be affected are those living in Du Plessis, Shamrock and Rose Streets as well as 7th Avenue while all streets in Robertville and Lea Glen will come off worst. On both 3 and 4 June the interruption will be from 9.30pm until 5am the following day.
On their official website the City ascribes these interruptions to upgrades to its infrastructure. Joburg Water spokesperson Millicent Kabwe could not be reached for comment as yet.
Residents living in the above areas are alerted to the fact that they will be without water.
Johannesburg Water, however, apologises to the residents in the affected areas and undertakes to have the interruption resolved as soon as possible.
