One man was killed when he was hit by a train last Friday (23 May) at the Florida Train Station, according to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
ER24 paramedics responded to the train station and were greeted by a large group of onlookers on the platform.
Assessments showed that a man sustained fatal injuries after he apparently had fell between the platform and an oncoming train.
The platform was closed to allow paramedics access to the deceased.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate the incident.
