Don’t miss the My Band Project gigs at Roodepoort Theatre in Christiaan de Wet Road. The project takes six youth bands and six DJs and puts them into a six months programme where the bands will have workshops conducted by music industry leaders to educate them about the music business. Each band or DJ must host one performance where they will be provided with the venue and assisted with marketing at no cost. Entrance to the Basement Theatre costs only R20 per person.
