High tea in honour of Joubert’s ‘angelversary’

RUIMSIG - In memory of her daughter, mother holds Ladies High Tea event to raise funds for underprivileged children.

Ruimsig resident Mandy Joubert will host a fundraising event in memory of her late daughter Zoey on 24 May.

Zoey died two years ago at the age of four and the event will mark her 6th birthday as well as what Joubert terms her second ”angelversary.”

In the form of a ladies high tea held at Avianto in Muldersdrift, the event will be of benefit to charities and those in attendance.

“We have secured phenomenal guest speakers. Janine Carley-James from Restyle will be joining us again and Daphne Foxcroft and Gail Morgan-Smith from Heal Your Life Transformational Ambassadors,” Joubert informed.

She added that local businesses have stepped in and sponsored prizes and hampers that will be given to attendees.

The funds raised will be donated toward winter clothes for underprivileged children through charities like Mugg and Tree and Baby Moses – to name a few – in the Roodepoort area.

Entrance cost will be R200 per person, which includes tea or coffee, snacks and breakfast.

Joubert said there will also be a raffle on the day and attendees will walk away with prizes.
