The widow of a recently deceased hit-and-run victim is appealing to the public for help.
Nathan Adams, husband of Belinda Adams from Florida was on his way home from work in Centurion on 27 April when his vehicle ran out of petrol between the Beyers Naudé off-ramp and the 14th Avenue off-ramp.
He called his uncle to bring him petrol. When his uncle arrived he saw Adams at his car and called him to let him know that he had seen him but would have to make a turn-around.
When he got to the vehicle the deceased was lying in the road. This was at 2.50pm.
Eyewitnesses allege that a white Mazda bakkie hit Adams and drove off.
Anyone who saw the accident or has additional information is requested to contact Mrs Adams on 0745089422.
