An intimate arts gathering

A small audience of parents, teachers, family and friends were treated to a morning of music at Maragon School’s foundation phase music room.

The group of 24 pupils presented a variety of piano, guitar and vocal solos as well as small ensemble (group) items.

The main aim of the event was to give pupils of the school’s cultural centre the opportunity to perform for an audience, preparing them for future concerts and building their confidence as performers.

Each participant was awarded with a special certificate of participation.”We are extremely proud of our learners and their progress,” Maragon spokesperson Belinda Espag said. They will also enter external practical and theory exams this year, for the first time in the school’s history.”
