Naledi’s People’s Centre is a registered non-profit organisation that offers rehabilitation to women and children who have suffered ritual, domestic and sexual abuse.
Ritual abuse is a result of cult, cultural or religious rituals that can include sexual abuse.
Naledi’s People’s Centre believes in the common dignity of all humans regardless of religious persuasion. They will accept people of any religion as long as their religious practices are not harmful to themselves or the other residents.
The centre, located in Davidsonville, also offers temporary shelter for women and children under 16 who may be abandoned or are awaiting trial.
There goal is to open shelters across the country and throughout Africa. They also wish to provide training for and facilitate a discussion on trauma, its effects and consequences.
Donations are welcome and banking details are available on their website at nalediinfo.yolasite.com
