The Roodepoort’s SAPS K9 unit arrested three suspects after a tip-off from the community.
According to SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Nonhlanhla Khumlo, the K9 unit acted on information regarding suspicious activities in Roma Street.
The unit went to investigate and searched the house. They confiscated five cellphones, a packet of the Cat and a scale that is believed to be used to weigh drugs.
A 23-year-old female and two males, 20 and 23 were arrested.
The suspects will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
