Children of all ages could end their school holiday on a sweet note on 5 April.
The Roodepoort Theatre hosted a giant easter egg hunt in their beautiful gardens with the first round starting at just before 9am. The eggs were hidden all over the gardens and if found the kids could enjoy their loot. Two more rounds were held and the three top hunters each were rewarded with a giant chocolate bunny.
A magician and stealth walker entertained the children and parents alike with their tricks and tomfoolery.
The Roodepoort Theatre organisers also invited children from children’s homes to participate in the day for free and Beacon and Coca-Cola sponsored the goodies that made for a perfect Saturday morning’s entertainment, giving parents a well-deserved break after having to keep the youngsters busy over the short school holiday.
