12-hour DJ festival this April

The Matrix Warehouse is proud to present the first ever 12-hour long DJ in the Park event this April in Southern Johannesburg.
The event is set to take place on Saturday 12 April at the Sports and Recreation Centre in Linmeyer, Johannesburg.
Jan Boshof, managing director of Matrix Warehouse is especially excited for his organisation to get involved in the project, saying that “Matrix Warehouse is shaping the future of information technology (IT) and is looking forward to shaping the future of musical events in Johannesburg.
“What better way to bring communities together than through music and dance?”
Some of South Africa’s very popular DJs will be showcased in the line-up, including Lady Lea, Euphonik, Milkshake, DJ Fresh, LCNVL, Vin Deysel, Crazy White Boy and Roger Goode.
They will be preceded with a foreshow of the winners of an amateur DJ showcase.
Tickets won’t be available at the gate on the day and should be purchased from Computicket at www.computicket.com. Tickets start at R300 per person and VIP tickets also can be purchased from either Michelle Varner via email at michellevarner@webmail.co.za or Leanne Jame via email at leanne@webmail.co.za. The VIP tickets include specially designated ‘chill’ areas where residents can enjoy the company of the DJs, assorted foods and drinks and VIP parking.
The show starts at 9.30am and parking and rides to the event will be available from either The Glen Shopping Centre, Marais Viljoen High School or Glenanda Primary School. Tickets for parking are sold at Computicket as well.
