Elections 2014: Freedom Front Plus
The last outpost of Afrikaner Nationalism.

The Freedom Front was founded on 1 March 1994 by members of the Afrikaner community under Constand Viljoen. Later he handed over the reigns to Dr Pieter Mulder, son of former National Party Cabinet Minister Dr Connie Mulder. Dr Pieter Mulder is currently also the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
This right-wing party promotes Afrikaner nationalism, Conservatism, Christian democracy and the self determination of minority groups.
The party launched their manifesto on 9 March and includes the following:
• The right to self determination, especially for the Afrikaner. In a zone where a nation is in the majority they should be able to rule themselves.
• The right of a person to his own language, for example in education.
• Improving the education system. The role of unions and politics in the education system should be restricted.
• End affirmative action.
• Fight the e-toll system.
• Create jobs for the youth. The Afrikaner youth should be given the opportunity to become entrepreneurs since they are being discriminated against increasingly.
