Last chance to register for 2014 elections

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) will be hosting the last registration weekend on 8 and 9 February ahead of the National Assembly as well as Provincial Legislature elections taking place in May.

In 2013, the Roodepoort Northsider was inundated with complaints of potholes, water issues, cable theft, power outages, illegal dumping and municipal bylaw mismanagement. Not to mention e-tolling, fuel price hikes, crime and corruption on a national level. But it is up to you now to change this. Now is your chance to make a difference. Make sure you are registered to vote and have your say when voting in May.

If you are not registered, or have moved since the last time you registered, please go put yourself on the voters roll. If you’re not sure where you are registered, SMS your ID number to 32810 and an SMS will be sent to your phone telling you where you are registered or check it online at www.elections.org.za.
