Cansa’s Community Mobiliser of the Northern Business Unit, Celia Mostert was kind enough to give the Record a rundown of confirmed Shavathon venues.
Residents interested and motivated to donate their ponytails, shave their heads, spray their hair or otherwise buy a Cansa Wrap for their hair can do so at the following confirmed venues:
• Westgate Shopping Centre (Roodepoort)
• Clearwater Mall (Strubens Valley)
• Key West Shopping Centre (Krugersdorp)
• Cradlestone Mall (Krugersdorp)
• President Hyper (Fochville)
• President Hyper (Krugersdorp)
• Princess Crossing (Roodepoort)
• Retail Crossing (Wilgeheuwel)
As previously mentioned by the Record, the donation involved for participating in the Shavathon is R50 per adult and R25 per child younger than 12. Cansa Wraps are sold at R50 per Wrap.
