The operation through the SAPS and Emergency Management Services (EMS) to rescue illegal miners after a clash underground between rival groups, finally came to an end on 8 January after three days.
Two injured men have been hospitalised and one was found dead. A total of 65 have been arrested.
They will face charges of illegal mining, trespassing, theft of precious metals and entering the country without proper documentation.
The incident took place at the closed Shaft 58 just of Reid Street.
