You make us successful — Baby Moses
The Sanctuary thanked residents and sponsors for all their support in a recent newsletter.
In a recent newsletter to the Record, the Baby Moses Baby and Child Sanctuary would like to thank all its sponsors, donors and volunteers for their tremendous help in 2013.
“Our thanks goes to all our volunteers, supporters, donors and sponsors,” the management duo, Lanie and Christo de Klerk, wrote.
“You contributed to our success this year — our numbers [of children] grew 27 per cent, we opened two new homes, added five new staff members and managed to keep our costs 15 per cent below that of 2012.
“We are also very greatful for the sponsored help and equipment, repairs, maintenance and new additions and alterations by all our supporters, who in numbers are two many to mention here.”
Baby Moses said that they aim to launch a campaign to acknowledge the support they have received.
“We are going to miss the spirit of Nelson Mandela and we hope that his legacy with regard to supporting children will continue in South Africa.”
