Silverstar show is simply the best
December a rocking time with Tina and Rod Vegas Tribute Show
Much fun was had at Silverstar Casino over the festive season with the much-anticipated Tina and Rod Vegas Tribute Show. The show kicked off on 13 December and came to an end on 31 December.
Performers Cookie Watkins and Rob Caudill wowed audiences with their performances as Tina Turner and Rod Stewart respectively.
Watkins mesmerised the crowd with some fabulous dance moves and invited a few men from the audience to dance with her.
Audience member Ouma Gwili said she loved the chemistry the duo shared on stage. “They complement each other well. Rod is a great singer while Tina is a great performer and that is a nice combination,” she said.
Another audience member, Leonette Lourens said it was as if the real Turner and Stewart were at Silverstar. “They sing so well and their performance was really good. I think if the real Tina Turner was to see this, she would be very happy.”
