The Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Rocci) lists businesses in the area and creates networking opportunities.
Established in 1983, Rocci, serves Roodepoort and its surrounding suburbs. These include agricultural holdings in the north, mining communities in the south and commercial areas such as Westgate and Constantia Kloof.
Their mission is to be the voice of business. They strive to assist businesses with their growth and development, and to create an environment in which the business community and its people can flourish.
Other than listing and networking, member benefits include the showcasing of their business products and services, Rocci providing business training and information sessions, a possibility of being invited to the Annual Business Awards, and member-to-member promotions.
Each member is to ascribe to a Code of Ethics when they conduct their business. Their business ethics include; “ensuring that the requirements of the customer are full and faithfully met, in terms of price, quality, variety and service”, and, ” [avoiding] all untruthful or misleading statements in publicity or advertising”.
