
South African Breweries and LiquidChefs’ Black Label Fusion
Ingredients
2 basil leaves
2 slices ginger
1 sprig thyme
Salt
Pepper
Dash of sugar syrup
100ml Redd’s Dry
Dash of bitters
1 bottle Carling Black Label
Sprig of thyme to garnish
Method
Use a hurricane glass.
Place the ginger into a glass and bash slightly with a muddler or pestle.
Add basil leaves, thyme, salt and pepper to the glass.
Add sugar syrup to the herbs and press using a muddler or pestle.
Add ice cubes and 100ml Redd’s, and stir to infuse the flavours.
Pour Carling Black Label into the hurricane glass and pour the herb infusion on top.
Garnish with the thyme sprig and top off with a dash of bitters.
South African Breweries and LiquidChefs’ Miller Summer Storm
Ingredients
12 mint leaves
25ml honey
50ml pineapple juice
dash of lemon juice
1 bottle Miller Genuine Draft
Sprig of mint to garnish
Method
Use a stemmed pilsner glass.
Place mint leaves and honey in a mixing glass or cocktail shaker.
Press mint and honey using a muddler or pestle.
Add ice cubes, pineapple juice and a dash of lemon juice to the glass and stir to infuse the flavours.
Pour the Miller draft into the stemmed glass and strain the infused liquid over the beer.
Garnish with a mint sprig.
