Another successful Baby Alex fundraiser
The fundraiser in aid of Alex Stephens held at West Ridge High School was successful.
On Saturday 23 November another fundraiser was held for Alex Stephens, also known as Baby Alex, who suffered brain damage following a near-drowning incident earlier in the year.
The event, again held at West Ridge High School, was a fun day for the family with various flea market stalls, food stalls and water activities for children.
The Anchor Biker’s Club (of Krugersdorp) also donated R4 080 towards Alex’s cause, which they handed over to the family at around 11am on Saturday.
Marie Blignaut says that they raised a total of R5 500 that will go towards Alex’s medical expenses and special needs.
