Rocci awards at Silverstar
Awards aplenty at Rocci's annual business awards ceremony.
The Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce (Rocci) held their annual business awards ceremony on 26 October.
Held at Silverstar Casino, nominees were treated to a gourmet three-course meal while emcee Melt Siebrhagen had the audience in stitches with his stand-up comedy in between awards.
Kenneth Badenhorst, appointed chief adjudicator from the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), announced the winners and Mohamed Cassim from First National Bank handed over the certificates. Businesswoman of the Year was awarded to Elizabeth Bellmann from Elizabeth Bellmann Radiography, and the gold award for Emerging Business went to Orcas Swimming.
The gold award for Professional Services went to Premier Verification, and Clinix Tshepo-Themba Private Hospital took gold in the Corporate and Listed Companies category.
Adding his own brand of magic to the evening’s festivities was Stafan Ludick, who, along with his band, entertained winners and nominees alike during intervals.
Rocci would like to extend their congratulations to all winners and nominees and wishes all their businesses good luck for the coming year.
