I hope everyone at the Record is keeping well, especially after the refreshing and much-needed rain.
I love the picture on the front page of this week’s edition (25 October) of the Record. It is such a beautiful reminder of God’s promise to His people.
The last time I saw a double rainbow was on the day of my sister’s funeral in Cape Town around 17 months ago. Just before we entered the chapel for the service a beautiful double rainbow appeared above the building.
It reminded me so much of her, since she was one of a twin. It seemed to say, from her side, “don’t forget, we are up here watching over you”.
I just wanted to share the significance of the rainbow photograph with Roodepoorters. I heard them describing the rainbow on Jacaranda FM and was disappointed that I had missed the beautiful sight. However, knowing my sisters, they probably whispered “quickly take a picture” to the photographer so that Dawn could see it too!
They were always so full of fun and enjoyed teasing me.
Truly, thank you!
