Minors wanted for ATM damage
Two minors are suspected of damaging an ATM and were caught on camera.
Two young boys are wanted as of Thursday 24 October for malicious damage to property.
According to Vincent Mashiteng from the Roodepoort SAPS, the two boys are suspected to have caused malicious damage to an Absa ATM at the corner of Dirkie Uys Avenue and McGrath Street in Witpoortjie.
The boys were caught on a camera next to the ATM as they were turning the camera away from the ATM. Though the incident occurred on 2 May this year, the case of malicious damage was opened only in August.
Although photos of the two boys that were taken with the camera were supplied to the Record, it may not be published as it is suspected that they are minors.
Residents are asked to assist detective Constable Kgame with any information about their whereabouts.
