Join Hog at the Gateway Market

Join the Harley Owner’s Group (Hog) at the Gateway Market this November.

“It’s the market that makes a difference!” reads the pamphlet. On 2 November from 9am residents are invited to join in the fun.

Chanelle Bekker, fundraiser for the Gateway Society, is looking forward to Hog opening the event by handing out sweets.

“Then the real fun begins with the traditional games, live entertainment, modern dancing and of course the Miss Dare-to-Care pageant.”

Bekker says there will be entertainment for the whole family, “Everyone will find something they like about the Gateway market”.

She explains that there will be a tea garden, along with various food stalls.

More than 50 crafters will display their work at the market and various forms of entertainment will be available for the children.

The funds raised will benefit the Gateway Society, which aids people with physical and/ or mental disabilities.

The market will be open from 9am to 2pm and will be at the corner of Peter Road and Van Dalen Street in Ruimsig.
