Attention all Potjiekos Masters of the West. Your culinary skills are urgently required to help raise funds for the Florida Baby House at the charity Potjie cook-off event of the year. The Florida Baby House offers a safe and loving environment for babies that have been abandonment and/or are suffering from HIV/Aids.
The admin ladies at ABSA Gauteng West have done a sterling job at organising this yummy family fun day, which will be held on 26 October at AFM Church Weltevreden Park, located on Albert Street.
The day will consist of a potjiekos competition, a flea market, a gospel singing competition, live entertainment, and a jumping castle for the kids.
If you feel you can make the best potjiekos, come and prove it. Potjies may be set up any time from 6am and the judging starts at 12pm. Stalls may be setup from this time as well. Secure parking is available.
Entry fee for the potjiekos: R20 per pot (not per person)
Stall fee: R50 per stall
Fee for the singing competition: R 20.00
