Making a splash Midmar style

Time Freight Swim Challenge at Heia Safari Lodge

Heia Safari Lodge in Muldersdrift and Time Freight will once again be splashing about at their annual Swim Challenge on 26 and 27 October. The Swim Challenge is held as part of the aQuellé Midmar Mile seeding events and hundreds of swimmers are set to take part in the various swimming competitions taking place over the weekend. Races scheduled for the event range from 3000m – for the more experienced swimmers – all the way down to 400m, for those who are less adventurous. Men and women of all ages can compete in whichever category suits them. The top three swimmers in every category will receive medals, as well as every swimmer that crosses the finishing line. Those who enter to compete in the opening race will be able to participate in two additional races at no extra charge. “We are looking forward to the seeding event at the Heia Safari Lodge. It is always well supported by the venue and participants,” said event organiser Wayne Riddin.

Entry fees for the race vary between R60 and R120 and online entries can be submitted on www.midmarmile.co.za.
