Garmin Southern Africa donated 10 GPS car units to Honeydew CPF. CPF chairperson Kim Myburgh said the donation will be of great help to the police. “They will be able get to addresses much quicker and easier; it will also help with the new recruits who don’t know the area very well.”
Michelle Letcher, head of sponsorship and fitness for Garmin Southern Africa, said the company saw it fit to make this donation as they know how important response time is for the police. “With the work the police do, it is important that they don’t get lost when responding to crime.”
