ANC loves DA: another he-said, she-said story

We concur with Mr Dewes that we had a meeting with himself and my comrade Thabo Tlhakoane, at his request following a altercation we had at the Roodepoort Magistrate Court.
It was and still is our intension to meet with the ward councillor and not with a DA councillor to discuss serious and important ward problems because the ward committee is dysfunctional and the ANC is not represented in the committee. We had a appointment At 4pm at his pub, but we only arrived at 5pm where we found Mr Dewes heavily intoxicated.
To such a point that we could not in good conscience discuss any ward issues. To our surprise the only thing he wanted to discuss was for us to persuade the complainant to withdraw the charges against him. Then he offered us a “deal” of how we can make money with him if we successfully discourage the complainant from proceeding with charges.
He then laid down his conditions wanting a signed affidavit from the complainant. We then refused MR Dewes then started making racial remark about our council and government and stating that “if the white man did not come to south Africa we would have been wiped out by disease and our animal behaviour”. He then pointed at his pub stating that he chased the whities away and called the coloured people bruin people, I then told him he never felt the oppression of the past government and should not refer to coloured people as “bruin” people trying to steal their identity.
He then completely dismissed all black people in our ward and stated that “he has no need for their vote he has the bruin people to vote for him and blacks must go back to Soweto”.
We then advised him not to talk ill of our government, our president and our people. Then we asked him what does the DA think of his utterances he then said “the DA needs me more than I need them, anyway I am a businessman first, they approached me to be their representative”.
One wonders why people vote for the DA in ward 70 given Mr Dewes’ reputation as a slum lord and a bully who has no regard for human rights. The DA has done nothing for the people of ward 70, the housing projects in our ward is a ANC project. The city of Johannesburg with its infrastructure development is an ANC-lead project. Lets not forget this is a ANC-lead government and he is a servant of the people as a councillor in an ANC-lead province. That he as a councillor has failed the people of ward 70 there is no job creation on his side for people, the drugs is out off control he does not care because he does not live in ward 70 his children are not affected by this, while our people and their lives are being destroyed. We as the ANC want to transform this ward into safe prosperous non-sexist, non-racist ward.
