Panorama FC’s big win

Panaroma Football Club wins the Vets cup

Panorama Football Club had a great end to the football season. On Wednesday 11 September, the club beat Linhill Celtic 2-1, winning the Vets cup for the Inter Local Football Association League. The game was a very tight contest for both teams.

The game began on a shaky note with Panorama FC missing several goals, but towards the end of the first half Panaroma scored a goal and broke the deadlock.

During the second half Linhill attempted to level the contest, but Panorama worked hard to prevent an equaliser. About 10 minutes before the game ended, Linhill scored an unexpected goal from a corner, but just before the game entered extra-time, Panorama came from the back with a quick counter attack and scored their second goal, sealing victory.

Celebrations took place at the end of the game with club coach Mike Kelly lifting the cup. For Panorama FC players and their supporters it was a night to remember.

This was a must-win for the club as they finished third place in the league, just one point behind their opponents, Linhill.
