Students showcase their talents

Well-known rockers put their students on stage.

On 29 August students of Enso Music School entertained scores of parents, friends and the press at a well-organised mid-year concert at VIP Lounge.

The school is run by well-known rock artists Christian Heath and Rici Seven.

The purpose of this concert was to showcase how the students have progressed throughout the year.

According to Christian, they will host a workshop at the end of the year where students will get the chance to perform with people within the music industry.

The Record was surprised to learn that comedian David Kabuuka is one of Christian’s students. He performed at the concert.

Christian’s devotion was clearly displayed when he accompanied a young student on stage to boost her confidence during her second performance.

“Her name is Nicola Ratcliffe (9). Her first performance was a bit shaky and I knew her ability to perform the song was at a high standard so we decided to let her sing the track again because her nerves got the best of her. During her second attempt, she waxed the song.

“Two of my students had Gold at SA champs.Lauren Blight and Josua Jansen. These two, together with Rachel Nel are preparing for SATCH which will happen in two weeks’ time.”
