Four dagga arrests made

Four arrests relating to possession of dagga were made over the weekend spanning from 23 to 25 August, according to Roodepoort SAPS spokesperson Vincent Mashiteng.

On 25 August police arrested a man (28) in Van Wyk Street in the Roodepoort CBD after he was found with 0,6g of dagga during stop and search operations.

A man (29), who was in possession of 3,5g of dagga, was arrested in Grobler Park on 23 August.

Also on 25 August police arrested a man when they stopped and searched a suspicious group and found 20g of dagga in one of the men’s pockets.

On 23 August another man (26) also was arrested in Orange Street, Princess after the police found 4,1g of dagga in a ziplock bag on him.

All the men appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court.
