Dei Amoris Women’s Day high tea

On Women’s Day, Dei Amoris Gemeenskapskerk/Community Church hosted a high tea for ladies in the community. Not even the early morning rain could dampen the spirit of the women involved. The focus of the event was for women to experience the freedom and beauty of a butterfly.

While host speaker Yolanda Kok spoke about the similarities between women and the metamorphosis of the butterfly, other discussions included planning your wardrobe and personal health. In addition to this the ladies were also entertained with a praise and worship dance.

Even though it was Women’s Day, the men were not ignored but treated to a delicious brunch on the same premises.

Dei Amoris Gemeenskapskerk is a new, dynamic independent Afrikaans Pentecostal church founded by a group of Christians to honour the glory of God. The name Dei Amoris means “God’s Love”and  it aim to reach out to the community and spread the Word of God.
