Two men were arrested on the afternoon of 19 August for housebreaking and theft, after breaking into a house in Galena Avenue, Helderkruin.
When the owner of the house arrived at home in the early afternoon he found three unknown men in his house. The suspects ran away and SAPS were called. After a quick response the police managed to arrest two of the suspects.
The police recovered a Sony music system, clothes, a DVD player and jewellery and the suspects were charged with housebreaking and theft.
The third suspect is at large and investigations are under way.
The suspect will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court on a charge of housebreaking and thefton 22 August.
