One injured in Discovery collision

A collision on 9 August resulted in one woman having sustained minor injuries.

As reported on twitter, the collision occurred at around midnight at the intersection of Honeyball Avenue and Christiaan de Wet Road.

According to senior flight paramedic Gareth Staley, “A truck had collided with a light motor vehicle. Although paramedics treated one woman for minor injuries on scene, no one was transported to medical facilities for further care.”

Details regarding the accident and preceding events will remain the subject for police investigation, according to ER24 protocol.
