Three seriously injured on Ontdekkers

Six people were injured in a collision on Ontdekkers Road on the evening of Sunday 4 August.

Netcare 911 paramedics were called out to an accident scene on Ontdekkers Road, other services also were on scene.

According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann, paramedics found that two vehicles had collided.

“This resulted in six people being injured, of which three sustained serious injuries.

“After they were treated on scene, they were transported to nearby medical facilities for further assistance.”

Steinmann says that the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
