Rocci opens business nominations

Is your business flourishing? How about the businesses of your close friends, neighbours or family members?

Rocci has opened its Business of the Year nominations to the public as of 1 August 2013. Every year the Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Rocci) presents their Business of the Year awards to recognise local businesses and business people being successful and innovative.

This year, they say, the aim is “to raise the bar even higher”, reflecting on the 2012 award nominees and their excellence.

Rocci bookings’ Lillian Matlhaku says that “this is our residents’ chance to nominate businesses that are committed to building a strong South Africa”.

The Chamber has seen 27 years of unsurpassed growth in the awards. Rocci and FNB, a main sponsor, encourage all businesses to accept the challenge and participate.

The acknowledgement of achievement is open to all successful businesses that embody the spirit of enterprise. Anyone who is somehow involved or aware of such a business can nominate it – that includes employees, buyers, suppliers, bankers, business agencies, attorneys, accountants and any resident.

To nominate a business, simply complete the nomination form and send it back to Rocci on fax number 086 655 4290 or via email at rocci@rocci.org. The closing date for nominations is 30 August.
