Readers of the Record and those who follow the news on the website might have caught wind of the fact that the investigating team are regularly releasing short investigative video clips on relevant subjects.
On 26 July journalist Riaan van Zyl was on the receiving end when Channel Islam International (CII) interviewed him on the team’s making of the A day in the life of a beggar video.
CII, who punts itself as the worlds biggest Islamic international radio station, spoke to Van Zyl extensively about not only the making of the video but also delved deeper into the story regarding the phenomena of beggars in the Roodepoort area.
