Horison taxi accident leaves six injured

Six were injured in a taxi collision on 18 July 2013.

Netcare 911 reports that an accident occurred on Paul Kruger Avenue in Horison on the morning of 18 July.

According to Santi Steinmann, Netcare 911 media liaison, one minibus collided with another, injuring six commuters.

Upon the paramedics’ arrival on scene, they found that a minibus had rear-ended another minibus.

“Two people sustained serious injuries while four sustained moderate injuries.”

Steinmann says that the injured were treated on scene.

“Afterwards they were transported to nearby medical facilities for further assistance.

“Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unclear at this stage,” Steinmann told the Record.
