Cansa celebrates Christmas in July with an exciting competition.
Roodepoort’s Cansa Care Centre is looking forward to celebrating Christmas in July this year.
On Saturday 27 July Cansa is hosting a fun-filled day at the Ansfrere Shopping Centre in Discovery.
The festivities begin at 9am and should carry on until 3 pm. Residents can look forward to live entertainment and line dancers. Various food and drink stalls will be available on the day, selling favourites such as pancakes and boerewors rolls.
To spice things up, a potjiekos competition is being held in aid of Cansa projects.
Each entered potjie will be considered a donation to Cansa.
Cansa will then serve lunch from the potjies at R20 per plate.
Groups, teams or individuals are welcome to enter.
Entry fees are R100 per potjie and own ingredients are to be donated towards this.
Rumour has it that entrants stand a chance to win a seaside vacation!
